Mary Scott,
her mother was a music teacher, was surrounded by music of all genres
from a very early age. During these early years she studied classical
violin and quickly developed a passion for music. This passion led to
Mary meeting her partner, mentor and life long friend Ronnie Scott.
Through this union she went on to live a highly privileged life
immersed in the music consistently played at Ronnie Scott's Club by the
innovators of the music itself. As Ronnie himself said; "Working in the
club six nights a week listening to such artist's as, Sonny Rollins,
Ben Webster, Coleman Hawkins, Zoot Simms, Oscar Peterson, Buddy Rich,
etc. some of them playing three sets a night for a month at a time, was
the Master of all Master Classes, in fact it was like being in heaven".
This rich heritage of music has continued throughout her life in New
York City, and it is an honor and a privilege, to once again, represent
some of the finest musicians in the world.
